Helping local government provide services that contribute to an improved quality of life for their communities is where Malcolm gets the most satisfaction from in his role as National Placements Manager with CT Management Group.
Malcolm is experienced in various activities across the private, public and not-for-profit sectors, including strategic and operational roles in changing environments. He attributes part of his success to his strong focus on leadership in service provision.
At CT Management Group, Malcolm is responsible for building relationships, securing business and delivering superior results on all projects. His approach is to focus his priorities on understanding the client’s needs, communicating how CT Management Group can help and then to ensure we always deliver in the most effective way.
One of the projects Malcolm prides himself on most is, the delivery of $50 million in flood recovery work at Moira Shire in 2012-14. Moira was significantly impacted by the event and Malcolm successfully led a team of CT Management Group associates in helping the community get back on their feet with the recovery project, which was completed in a timely and cost-effective manner.
The skills Malcolm has gained over the years have given him additional opportunities to contribute to the community. Which includes sitting on the school council of the specialist education school his step son attends. Malcolm has become a valued contributor to solving the many complex issues they have faced.
He is also involved with the Goulburn Valley Water’s Carbon Customer Advisory Group, however doesn’t consider himself to be a ‘Greeny’ in any way.
Being able to reflect and say “that was worthwhile” is something Malcolm considers very important professionally and personally. For this reason, Malcolm likes to make each moment count and cherishes every opportunity he gets to spend with family and friends.
Malcolm is a great team player who has the ambition to help build on the business development capacity of others within CT Management Group.
