Current Projects – City Deals

Malcolm McKenzie

National Placements Manager

CT Management Group have 90 Associates working on a variety of professional placements and projects nationwide. The work undertaken is diverse ranging from Infrastructure Project Management through to Workforce Planning, Financial Management and Governance projects.

An example of our major project capability involves our Associate team at Colac Otway Shire (Victoria) who are busy working on the delivery of three major coastal infrastructure projects, which is funded under the Federal Governments City Deals initiative.

For the past 12 months the team has consisted of Stan Antczak and Chris Baker in a project management capacity, focusing on project planning, with Associate, Lisa Healy in a project support role. The Team is led by Colac Otway Shire’s Project Director, Frank Castles. As the projects are moving into the delivery phase, Associates Paula Gardiner (Civil Engineer) and Emma Ashton (Community Engagement) have joined the team.

The projects, valued at a total of $20 million, include the redevelopment of the Apollo Bay Harbour precinct, the development of a shared use (pedestrian and cyclist) coastal trail from Skenes Creek to Apollo Bay and a tourism parking and toilet infrastructure upgrade at Kennett River.

The City Deals project is a three-year federally funded initiative, and the team are currently in the planning and detailed design phase. It is anticipated construction will commence in 2022.
