NSW – Case Study: Kempsey Shire Council – Aquatic Facilities Condition Assessment and Analysis Report

CT Management was appointed to undertake a condition assessment and analysis report project for Kempsey Shire Council’s four (4) aquatic facilities in late-June 2022.

CT won the project off the back of developing a strong and multi-faceted proposal which combined CT’s Associate and Alliance partner resources to address the mix of elements within the scope.

The asset condition assessment software was set-up by CT Alliance Partner Asset Vision. CT Associate Peter Dunn then conducted the condition assessments and provided analysis commentary for each of the 4 sites using the Asset Vision software. The overall analysis report was then developed by CT Regional Manager/Associate Jarrod Bryant, and CT Director/Associate Owen Harvey.

The report provided the client with a summary of the condition issues at each location, 10-year operational maintenance and capital renewal plans, analysis of the lease agreement position at each facility, environmental sustainability suggestions and high-level recommendations in relation to the future sustainability of operation of the sites given Kempsey Shire Council’s strategic position regarding their aquatic facilities.

While the project wasn’t initially one that CT would consider a part of our core service offering, through deeper investigation and consideration of the variety of skill sets that are present within our Associate/Alliance partner base we were able to develop a viable solution for the client, and subsequently win a valuable project.

We now offer this experience and skill to other potential client Councils.
